from Every Lie"/June 29, 2008)  Many of us wrestle with and live lies every
day--  lies and labels that come from our own thoughts and from the false
judgment of others.   Besides discouraging us, these lies can disqualify us
from understanding who God says we are and from what God calls us to do.
Looking at Judges 11, Pastor Ron encourages us through the life of Jephtah
who, despite being confronted by obstacles like illegitimacy, "broke free" from
the shame and lies that surrounded him. As victorious believers, we too like
Jephtah can break free as we embrace our true and rich identity in Christ.
