us to worry about the future, with constant reports about large
firms declaring bankruptcy, increasing gas prices, a weakening
dollar, uncertainty in the stock market, and much more. In this
faith-filled message, Pastor Ron Lewis reminds us that as children
of God we live in a different economy—one that is not dependent
on our limited human capacity to produce wealth.  He draws his
inspiration from John 16, where Jesus teaches that in the world
we will have tribulations, but that despite this we can be of good
cheer, because Christ has come to overcome the world. Be still
and be at peace in the midst of the current economic downturn.
