In perilous times, we often wonder -- "why does God allow us
to face such intense crises or pressure?" In this message, Pastor
Jim Laffoon reveals four answers found in 2 Corinthians 2: 8-9 to
help us not only hold onto God's promises, but most importantly
hold on to the sovereignty and strength of God Himself. When
everything seems to be against us, remember that our amazing
God is doing a supernatural refining work in our lives, allowing us
to rely on Him instead on the frailty of our humanity. Perilous times
may be difficult, but it is through hardships that we believers can
develop into all that He created us to be!
