Even the final 24 hours of Christ's life here on Earth before He was
handed over to death leaves a powerful example for us.  The first of a
very rich teaching series on John 13-18 by Pastor Jim Laffoon focuses
on the deeper truths behind Jesus' washing of  His disciples' feet  -
an amazing response given  that Jesus certainly knew that He was only
hours away from betrayal, torture, and death.  In His humble response,
we learn that God's desire is for us to "wash" one another through
transparency and accountability with godly people around us.  By
allowing others to come in and  stand with us, as we struggle through
dark and sinful areas in our own heart, we become more like Christ.
